About MANA
MidAtlantic Neonatology Associates (MANA) is a group of neonatologists, advanced neonatal practitioners and physician assistants dedicated to providing exemplary neonatal intensive care, teaching pediatric resident physicians in training, educating medical students and engaging in original research oriented towards improving neonatal outcomes.
Incorporated in 1995, MANA consists of fourteen board-certified neonatologists, ten neonatal nurse practitioners and physician assistants, and a PhD neurobiologist. MANA oversees the care of infants at The Goryeb Childrens Hospital of Morristown Memorial (level III Regional Perinatal Center) in Morristown, New Jersey, Overlook Hospital (level III Community NICU) in Summit, NJ, St. Clare’s Hospital (level II Special Care Nursery) in Denville, NJ and Chilton Hospital (level II Intermediate Care Nursery) in Pequannock, NJ.
MANA is strongly committed to postgraduate medical education. Atlantic Health, a system which includes Morristown Memorial and Overlook Hospitals, is closely affiliated with Mt. Sinai School of Medicine. Third and forth year students from Mt. Sinai, as well as St. George’s University School of Medicine, rotate for their pediatric education. Morristown Memorial Hospital sponsors an independent, fully accredited pediatric residency program. Visiting fellows in neonatology, from all over the Americas, come to Morristown to enhance their clinical training and research expertise.
